Constitution, Guidelines and By-Laws

The objects of the Association shall be: -

To foster and encourage friendship through sporting activities between Island communities and to provide opportunities for sportsmen and sportswomen to participate in international sport.

To promote at two-yearly intervals the NatWest International Island Games, which shall be open to competitors representing an Island, whose Association is a member of the IIGA. The first Games was held in the Isle of Man in 1985 and subsequent Games are numbered consecutively as they take place using Roman numerals.

To establish rules and regulations for the conduct of the NatWest Island Games in conformity with the technical rules of the International Federations governing the sports concerned.
