Highest Honour for Honorary Life Member Bo Frykenstam

It was recently announced that IIGA Honorary Life Member Bo Frykenstam is to receive the highest award in Swedish sport - the Swedish Sports Confederation's Gold Medal.

The presentation of this prestigious award will take place at the Confederation's biennial General Meeting on 28th May in the city of Uppsala. Between 800 - 900 delegates, media and VIPs will gather together over the weekend for the ceremony.

This honour follows the recent presentation of the Gotland Sports Academy's Honorary Award to Bo who also received the Gold Medal, Gotland Sports Federation's highest award in 2000 for his invaluable services to sport during his involvement over the past 40 years.
