Success for Gibraltar!

With only six weeks to go until the NatWest Island Games start in Bermuda the people of Gibraltar are enthusiastic, thanks to a completely new international challenge.

Gibraltar has been part of the International Island Games Association since the very beginning and hosted the 'Sunshine Games' in 1995. Last Friday Gibraltar also became a member of the European Football Association, UEFA

Gibraltar finally became the 54th member of UEFA having tried to join for many years. Another of our members, the Faroe Islands is also a member of UEFA.

UEFA's decision and the longstanding and visionary work of the footballers of Gibraltar show us all something very important. Never give up! In the end you will win. Exactly like it is in any sport.
