The Heat Is On!

With just three weeks to go to the NatWest Island Games the heat has been turned up in our Member Islands. The Games will be one of the largest multi-sport events in the world this year! This could not happen without hard work from many sources. My best wishes go to all the competitors who have fought so hard to get to Bermuda. And to the managers, sponsors, fundraisers and indeed everyone who has contributed in so many different ways. I am looking forward to the NatWest Island Games for many reasons but most of all to see the competition, the joy, the friendship and the never-ending work to improve; to run faster, jump higher, swim faster and to excel. The beauty in sport is never as defining as in real competetion.
