It is our great honour to report that IIGA Vice Chairman James Johnston is no longer a free agent. Margaret Duffy from Lerwick, Shetland succeeded where most have failed – to make a man out of the boy! Margaret and James were married on the 6th of November 2008 and in order to ensure that everything went well previous IIGA Chairman and IIGA Honorary Life Member The Ven Brian Partington MBE conducted the service, overlooked by IIGA Honorary Medical Adviser Dr. Carl Clinton, IIGA Treasurer Eric Legg and myself IIGA Chairman Jorgen Pettersson. Being the Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee James could not of course just be handed over to the new Mrs. Johnston! During my speech as Best Man I therefore presented them with a 'Lending Agreement' which outlined certain terms and conditions to ensure that Mrs. Johnston will permit Mr. Johnston to continue to focus on his work for the IIGA!
