MBE for Guernsey's Alison Frankland.

Alison Frankland has been rewarded by Her Majesty in her Birthday Honours List with an MBE for her voluntary services to swimming in Guernsey. Prior to her retirement last year Alison was Manager of the Beau Sejour Leisure Centre Swim School. She has been Head Coach of the Guernsey Barracudas Swimming Club since its formation and has been involved teaching swimming and coaching for many years. She has been the Guernsey Swim Team Manager for four Commonwealth Games and many Island Games and has been appointed as Swim Team Manager for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India in October.
